This episode is my 50th, and I’m feeling very proud that I’ve come this far!
This episode is in honor of that, and it celebrates and discusses the milestones in a woman’s life, by her age and/or her experiences! What’s so special about turning 16, 18, 21, 25, 30, 40, 50, or beyond anyway?! Find out!
This episode gives you a general overview of how broad, varied, and tactile foreplay can be. If you’re stuck in the same old rut and can’t seem to think of new ways to spice up your foreplay/sex life, check out this episode!
Remember that foreplay is more than just the few moments before sex… I mean, really, where does foreplay end and sex begin anyway? Foreplay can last for moments or hours, and the great thing about it is that you and your partner are the ones who set the mood and the pace!
Of course most foreplay “moves” are innately sexual, but there are many other types of foreplay that become sexual or tantalizing based on their context and your connection with your lover.
This episode tells a personal story about finding a lump in my breast and the procedure and decisions that followed. Not only do I speak about this experience, but I share some interesting facts about breast lumps and the possible things that could be going on inside your boobs. I’m not a medical doctor, of course, but after hearing and reading the thoughts of doctors, I’ve been able to compile some important information here about your breast health and the possibilities.
Whether it’s a cyst, a fibroadenoma, or traumatic fat necrosis (it is much more likely to be one of these instead of cancer), it’s important to know the warning signs, potential causes, and what options you have. Bottom line: do what feels the best for you… Research it, get checked up, and decide which procedures are the best for you!
This episode is the third in a series focusing on the ins and outs and the biology of women’s bodies, right down to the most basic, scientific level. This episode shares with you much of the awesome information in chapter four of Woman: An Intimate Geography – a fabulous and scientific book about what it means to be a woman and/or a female by Natalie Angier. I’ve recently reread this book because it is fantastic! Her fourth chapter focuses on your fickle and fantastic clitoris! For example, did you know that:
Your clitoris has twice as many nerve endings (8,000) as a man’s penis?
The average length of a clitoris is 16mm long (the width of a dime)?
The clitoris is not sensitive to estrogen ebb and flow, and thus will not really change and leave you as you reach menopause like your vulva might?
Technically, there is no practical use for the clitoris (or is there…)?

Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Vaginas and Cervixes - Episode 46[ 23:58 ]Play Now | Play in Popup | Download
This episode has even more information about vaginas and your nether regions than you ever expected to know. Almost a second part to Episode 44 – Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Vaginas and Vulvas, this episode tells you all about the layers of your vaginal ecosystem! For example, did you know that:
Your vagina’s pH is similar to that of wine?
Sperm in your vagina temporarily raises the pH and imbalances the hearty, pathogen-fighting ecosystem you have?
The good bacteria that lives in your vagina, called lactobacillis, is the same that is found in yogurt?
Your cervix is the lower part of the uterus, and is twice as large as the rest of your uterus when you’re a kid?
All of this information and more in included in this episode… Join me as we dive in deep to the fantastic and functional system that is your vagina and beyond!
This episode highlights what most of us know but few of us remember on a day-to-day basis… The healing and recharging power of satisfying sex. Sex is, of course, a physical release, but it is so much more than that. Join me in today’s episode as I talk about the layered benefits of sex in your life:
Physical benefits: Beyond the sexual release, your body looses tension, sleep is more satisfying, and more!
Emotional benefits: Your personal outlook on your life is clearer, you are less fraught with anxiety or stresses, and more!
Social/Relationship benefits: Your relationship gets the TLC is deserves, you spend some focused one-on-one time together, and more!
Spiritual benefits: You can see (and feel) the grand, animal pattern that we are all subject to, you can acknowledge that we are all part of a shared experience, and more!
This episode reminds you that even when you feel “too tired” or “not in the mood” for sex, perhaps sex is just what you really need!
Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Vaginas and Vulvas! - Episode 44[ 23:27 ]Play Now | Play in Popup | Download
This episode is one of the most exciting in a while (in my opinion). I spend the entire episode talking about some of your most awesome body parts:
mons pubis
labia (majora and minora)
vulva
clitoris
This episode has info all about these body parts… Where they are, what they look like, what their purpose is, and other interesting facts about how they work and make you who you are!
What more can I say…? I advise you to listen to this episode during some naked time, with a mirror in hand, and be sure to check out The Embarrassing Bodies website’s Vulva Gallery to see the wide range of normal and beautiful vulva there truly are! Yay!
This episode leans towards the more emotional side of the O Woman! Podcast, and talks about unrequited love. That is, love that is not returned. As the new year begins, it is high time for you to work on your resolution to reassess the relationships in your life and identify those that drain you and take your precious energy without any return. Most people have loved someone who didn’t love them (at all or simply in the same way) and if you’re currently in a situation like this (you know if you are…) it is time to let go so that your life can grow and expand in positive, fantastic ways.
Do not give your energy to a dying past. Sometimes it is just time to let go!
Check out this episode for more about why its time to let go and move on to bigger, better, things!
Just a brief heads up: I misrecorded the episode number, calling it episode 45 in the audio. It’s actually episode 43!
Hopefully you’ve already started on some of your sexual resolutions for the New Year… This episode is all about 3 sexual positions that can help you have the orgasms you deserve!
Don’t allow yourself to remain stuck to the myth that you can’t have an orgasm, or that you can’t have them frequently. This is a myth, and therefore incorrect! You can have orgasms, and you can have them on a regular basis!
The key is learning to ask for what you want sexually, and understanding what your body needs and likes the most. You also have to keep in mind that in different sexual relationships, different positions work better than others (even positions that were a sure thing for you in the past). All bodies are different, so when two new bodies collide, there is bound to be a period where both people need to get used to the body and desires of the other person!
About Your Woman's Body: Your Genetically Rich X Chromosome! - Episode 41[ 19:04 ]Play Now | Play in Popup | Download
This episode is the second in a series focusing on the ins and outs and the biology of women’s bodies, right down to the most basic, cellular level. This episode shares with you much of the fantastic information in chapter two of Woman: An Intimate Geography – a fabulous and scientific book about what it means to be a woman and/or a female by Natalie Angier. I’ve recently reread this book because it is fantastic! Her second chapter focuses on your genetically dense X chromosome! For example, did you know that:
Your X chromosome is one of the largest in the body?
It holds thousands more genes than the Y chromosome?
Your sons are more genetically similar to you than to their father?
Learn all this and more in this episode, where we check out more about our genes!
